Position Overview : Investments Associate to focus on operations and providing assistance to our trading function. This role involves handling trade order processing, asset setup, troubleshooting trade discrepancies, and managing end-of-month processes.
You’ll be working closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure seamless trade execution. This position reports directly to a senior leader and offers substantial growth potential within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work closely with trading partners to identify and resolve trade errors and discrepancies.
- Manage documentation and ensure new financial products are accurately set up in our systems.
- Assist with account openings and ensure correct configuration within our internal platforms.
- Input and verify trade orders across multiple platforms.
- Support month-end processes to ensure accurate data reconciliation.
- Communicate with registered investment advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, and product issuers to confirm trade details and resolve issues.
- Monitor and facilitate trades using internal systems and third-party platforms.
- Address unmatched or incomplete trades by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial operations and / or trade support.
- Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to escalate issues and take initiative in problem-solving.
