Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to apply their skills in civil litigation and contribute to our firm's strong reputation for legal excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed attorney in both California and Nevada, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, providing legal services to a diverse range of clients and industries.

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil litigation.
• Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details in preparation for trial.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
• Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
• Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
• Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain a high level of professional conduct and adhere to all ethical standards of the legal profession.
• Stay updated on current legislation and regulations that are relevant to the practice.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law in California and Nevada.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of cases and work within strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing superior client service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
