Registered Nurse, Children's Day Hospital

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse with pediatric and adult experince for the Children's Day Hospital at Morristown Medical Center working varried shifts, primarily 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm or 12 : 00pm - 7 : 00pm.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

• Provide care to pediatric and adult patients pre- and post-procedure.
• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their didate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

Minimum Education :

• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
• BSN required

Minimum Experience :

• Experience with PIV insertion, monitoring and administering IV infusions to pediatric and adult patients preferred
• 3-4 years experience in acute care preferred

License / Certification :

• Valid RN New Jersey Nursing License
• BLS required
• PALS and ACLS certification required
• Pediatrics or CCRN preferred
