About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Evening Shift, Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 PM - 1 : 30 AM (No weekends or on-call;
holiday rotation participation required) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Experience on Toshiba (Canon) Titan 1.
5T MRI Unit; Epic experience needed License : Must maintain a State License as a general radiographer Certifications : ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Certification Must-Have : - Travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless approved for an exemption- NICOTINE-FREE- Cannot have had a suspended license in the past- Willingness to obtain a flu vaccine from September 7 - April 30 Job Description : Responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Change imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
- Participate in a brief orientation period on the day shift before transitioning to the evening shift.- May occasionally work weekends and holidays as needed;
call required.- Preferred (but not required) : Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
Candidates cannot be considered if they have been employed as a permanent hire at any related sites within the past year.
