Job Details :
- Coverage : Ongoing
- Specialty : Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
- Setting : Clinic Primary Care
- Shift : Monday - Friday 8 : 30a-5 : 00p with every other weekend (Same Hours). Will have days off during week when working weekend shift.
- Same Day Access Needs will be handling patients that have a Primary Care Physician but need to be seen. Patients are scheduled.
Shouldn’t have a lot of walk-in patients.
- Primary Care setting Colds, Flu, Coughs, Rashes, Diabetes, Blood pressure, Toenail Removal, I&D, some Women's Health, as needed.
- Call Schedule / Responsibilities : No Call
- PPD / Census : Estimated 24 Patients per day once ramped; (12 Patients per 4-hour block). Will work in basket work as well (Emails, Follow-ups, etc.).
- EMR : Epic
- Credentialing Time frame : Estimated 12 Weeks upon application submitted
Requirements :
- Active Unrestricted CA License
- Certifications required / accepted : Board Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- BLS via American Heart Association required
- Needs to have urgent care experience due to the high acuity; Requires experience in all ages.
- Will a licensing candidate be considered : No
- Telemed : No (Provider may have some Telemedicine patients calls or videos, but not many)
- Telemed Onsite : Yes
- Vaccination Requirement : Required with Recent Booster
