Job Description :
This job is responsible for driving accurate, complete, and timely delivery of data. Key responsibilities include working with business stakeholders and technology teams to direct commercial banking data management activities and ensure availability for use by appropriate consumers.
Job expectations include managing execution within the enterprise data management standards, data quality, and control practices.
This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within the Loans, Counterparty, & Climate (LC&C) team as well as maintenance and sustainability of process, control and metric design consistent with the Process Management - Enterprise Policy requirements across the product data teams.
Responsibilities include evaluating current processes, identifying areas of improvements for remediation, and building out actions plans and milestones.
Leads coordination of monitoring / control activities across the Loans, Counterparty, & Climate team (LC&C), working in partnership with central COO / Business Management.
This role will also be responsible for building relationships with key business partners across CFO, designing a support + analytics framework, and executing on that framework in partnership with the LC&C Executive.
Supports special projects and initiatives on an ad hoc basis.
Responsibilities :
- Works with Line of Business partners, including Compliance, Audit, and Risk to understand needs and produce data solutions, often times in partnership with Technology
- Identifies gaps in data management standards adherence and works with appropriate partners to develop plans for resolution, including recommendations so that relevant risk and compliance policies and standards are met
- Analyzes emerging needs for data to address risk, regulatory, or business enablement priorities and appropriately plans for interim and target state solutions within data management policies
- Monitors key performance indicators and internal controls in accordance with established thresholds, standards, and policies
Skills and Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business support and data management in a complex organization supporting senior leaders
- Process management / familiarity with SPI / POP / Common process approach
- Ability to learn new systems quickly, superior leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills enabling cross-functional engagement with senior leaders
- Attention to detail and follow through on assignments
- Proven ability to execute with minimal direction and model this behavior across the team
- Working knowledge of the department or business units' functional area or products and general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial / accounting practices
- Strong analytical, risk management and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically across the organization to identify opportunities to improve overall performance efficiency.
- Flexibility - ability to adjust to changing / competing priorities
- Experience in managing SII and Audit issues
- Advanced / Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Extremely organized / excellent time management skills with ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities.
- Proven ability to develop executive ready communications and presentations that synthesize data and tell the story.
- Ability to develop comprehensive plans around key organizational priorities and ensure all accountable parties understand respective roles / responsibilities and are held accountable.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects and adjusting to changing deadlines.
