Purpose and Impact :
As the Director of eCommerce, you will be at the forefront of optimizing, re-imagining and ever evolving the digital customer experience for Edible Brands.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our owned and Third-Party (3P) online sales platforms including leading a team of merchandising professionals, content specialists and data analysts focused on optimizing the conversion journey, improving SEO rankings, reporting out meaningful insights to optimize digital properties and the traffic mix, and working closely with technology on executing the eCommerce roadmap.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team to achieve success against growth and margin targets across the online business.
This role is highly cross functional and requires that you be the vocal advocate for bettering the digital experience for Edible customers while identifying new growth opportunities and white space.
Candidates should have experience partnering closely with Operations, Performance Marketing, Finance and Customer Support teams to ensure holistic success to eCommerce KPIs.

Location : This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.
What that looks like day to day :
- Develop and lead execution of a strategy for wow-worthy, omni-channel digital customer experiences that drive revenue across the Edible Brands family of brands
- Lead and develop and high-performing eCommerce team that excels in the areas of CRO, messaging, SEO, product build, A / B testing and eCommerce technology optimization while fostering a spirit of collaboration, respect and innovation
- Ensure all digital property content and architecture meets brand objectives, exceed customers' expectations, follow eCommerce best practices, and improve search engine optimization (SEO) rankings
- Advocate and influencer senior leadership for the support and implementation of strategic initiatives, conducting and sharing ROI analyses and competitive analyses when needed
- Prepare and deliver sales reviews and presentations to senior leadership on your team’s strategic initiatives, key metrics and actionable insights that can help other areas of the business succeed
- Work closely with our Marketing team to bring profitable, engaging campaign and promotion strategies to life through an omni-channel lens
- Work closely with our Design and Technology teams to drive website UX / UI improvements and implement new technologythat will drive business KPI’s, with ability to weigh in on high-level technical feasibility
- Lead the decisioning and implementing the right back-office applications to support the front-end transformations.
- Analyze on-site and off-site (3P) data and user behavior to identify opportunities to increase key metrics and working with cross-functional teams to implement improvements
Required Experience :
- 10+ years in eCommerce experience and 7+ years managing high-performing teams
- Seasoned professional with hands-on and leadership experienceinproduct management, digital merchandising, creating seamless user experiences, CRO, SEO and driving sales across channels including desktop, mobile, app.
Experience with third-party digital retailers and marketplaces a plus.
- Experience from negotiating contracts, on-boardingand optimizingoff-premises partners and marketplaces (i.e. Uber Eats, Amazon, DoorDash, ezCater, etc.)
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives that will drive revenue growth
- Strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable with doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective
- Proven people leader with experience in both managing teams directly and rallying cross-functional teams and executives together around eCommerce initiatives
- Strong track record of creating winning CRO strategies that involved partnership with Technology, Operations, Finance and Marketing teams
- Driving improvements regarding documentation around the online business, including processes, vendor arrangements / contacts, customer flows and funnels, etc.
