Operations Manager
Our client is a leading Manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to join their team and contribute to ongoing success.
Job Summary : As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high quality standards, managing staff, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Your role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure smooth production flow.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, production staff, and support personnel.
- Coordinate with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes.
- Control operational budgets and costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage resources effectively.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent.
- Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards.
