About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Emergency Room Job Duration : 104 weeks Shift : 3x12 Night - 7 : 30 PM - 8 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36.
00 hours per week Experience : Minimum of two years in an emergency room setting License : New York State RN License Certifications : - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - required only in specific locations Must-Have : - IV insertion and phlebotomy skills - Experience with conscious sedation - Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English Job Description : - Provide high-quality nursing care in an emergency room setting - Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy - Administer conscious sedation as required - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to deliver optimal patient care - Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient information - Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond appropriately to changes - Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards - Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members
