We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional :
- Assist and / or supervises in activities of daily living skills
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with transportation
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives
- Data entry using Therap (EHR)
- Assist residents in the pursuit of recreational, social and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans
Job Requirements :
- HS diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
- Strong communication skills
NO certification required
Position Details :
Location : Old Bridge County : Middlesex
Hours Per Work Week : 28 Weekly Work Schedule : Thurs. 5pm-10pm; Fri. 2pm-10pm; Sat. 10am-6pm; Sun. 8 : 30am-3 : 30pm
Other shifts are available at this location.
NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
