The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Neurology seeks a qualified individual to join the faculty as an outpatient General Neurologist.
Board certification in General Neurology is required. Women and minority applicants are encouraged to apply. VISA candidates are also welcome to apply.
As an outpatient General Neurologist, the selected candidate will help provide exemplary care for a wide range of patients presenting with various Neurological Diseases.
There may be available opportunity for one to two weeks on the General Neurology Inpatient service. He / she will facilitate access to timely care and will have the opportunity to collaborate in care with a complete range of subspecialists in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The primary location for this position will be focused in an outreach clinic setting, located in the West Ashley, North Charleston, and Summerville / Nexton regions.
The ideal candidate will be well-trained and experienced with a diverse patient population, and will possess excellent clinical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
After hours and weekend call obligations are minimal. The position will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor on the clinical educator track, depending upon the qualifications and accomplishments of the applicant.
The Department of Neurology at MUSC is a rapidly growing academic program located in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.
