Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Emergency Room (ER) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : 2+ years required License : Michigan Nursing License Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Cannot accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13-week contract with the possibility of permanent placement) Job Description : - Provide direct patient care, demonstrating competent clinical practice.
- Triage patients, obtain their history and vital signs, and conduct assessments.- Independently initiate care in life-threatening situations when a physician is not immediately available.
- Care for both acutely ill and non-acute patients.- Perform multiple procedures using complex and simple nursing skills.
- Assist physicians with various procedures.- Offer comfort to patients, their families, and visitors.- Provide discharge and follow-up instructions to patients and family members.
- Answer ambulance radios and give appropriate orders for pre-hospital care without assistance.- Operate sophisticated equipment and manage various patient types in a frequently stressful environment.
- Work every other weekend as per scheduling needs.
