About The Position
Job Title : Employee Wellness Psychotherapist Job Specialty : Job Duration : 33 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours : 10 Hours per week Experience : At least 5 years of related experience License : One of the following is required : - Currently licensed as a Psychologist (LP).
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
Certifications : N / A Must-Have : Experience in critical incident stress debriefing and work-related issues.- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport and communicate effectively.
- Sound clinical judgment and excellent critical thinking skills.- Strong communication skills, including verbal, listening, and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting.- Efficiency, flexibility, and organizational skills.
Job Description : Deliver in-person short-term counseling to clinical staff to meet their psychological, social, and emotional needs.
- Provide critical incident response and occasional training to promote and support mental health in the workplace.- Support a stigma-free culture around mental health issues.
- Facilitate individual counseling and / or group therapy sessions for clinical staff to address stress, burnout, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
- Collaborate to develop coping strategies and address unhelpful or problematic behaviors.- Work to improve individuals' emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns.
- Facilitate referrals into benefit plans or community resources.- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate and assist in the facilitation of critical incident debriefings as needed.- Offer support and intervention during times of staff mental health crises.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans for staff as needed.- Design and deliver training sessions for leaders on recognizing signs of mental health issues, providing support, and fostering a healthy work environment.
- Educate on self-care strategies, stress management, team dynamics, and resilience building.- Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive mental health support for clinical staff.
- Provide consultation to leaders on work-related issues.- Assist in the implementation of wellbeing programs and initiatives for clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapeutic interactions.- Track training sessions and participation to evaluate satisfaction with offerings and identify additional training needs.
- Create reports on the utilization and effectiveness of this program and assist with predicting future needs for services.
- Provide regular reports on program activities and recommendations for ongoing support.
