The Project Manager / Estimator plays a pivotal role in our organization, driving business growth through effective relationship management and precise project execution.
This individual is dedicated to securing new contracts, fostering partnerships with stakeholders, and ensuring project success through meticulous planning and management.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development :
- Maintain and cultivate industry relationships.
- Expand connections with existing clients, focusing on framing and drywall scopes.
- Generate $2M - $3M in new business annually.
Estimating Proficiency :
- Participate in weekly bid meetings and provide comprehensive feedback.
- Achieve a 15% or higher win rate on submitted bids.
- Complete estimates 24 hours before submission, ensuring thorough review and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively to refine bids and meet deadlines.
- Prepare detailed, clear project proposals and complete contractor bid forms.
Project Management :
- Establish clear expectations, timelines, and action plans for teams and contractors.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Update and manage project schedules using Smartsheet.
- Coordinate closely with field superintendent to optimize manpower and scheduling.
- Achieve a minimum 20% gross profitability on projects.
- Set up new projects in Plexxis and provide necessary submittals within deadlines.
- Utilize PlanGrid for plan management and maintain accurate budgets in Plexxis.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits and implement effective job planning and workflows.
- Foster a culture of effective communication, feedback, and process improvement.

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Proficiency in bid software, plan management tools, and project management software.
