As a Senior Network Engineer on the Network Engineering Operations team, your passion for engineering should be visible to your team, stakeholders, and in everything you do.
As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor and guide junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the team's capabilities and performance
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years network engineering experience
- Extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or IS-IS
- Extensive knowledge of overlay technologies such as IPSec, VxLAN, MPLS, and Cloud deployments.
- Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers / switches, firewalls, load-balancers, and Wi-Fi solutions
- Strong understanding of traffic flow across complex network deployments; able to identify issues from a physical link through to application level
- JNCIP, CCNP or other Professional-level network certifications
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Juniper EX / QFX / MX / PTX, Palo Alto, Pulse Secure, F5, and Mist Wi-Fi
- JNCIP, CCNP, CCDP or other Professional-level network certifications
- Extensive routing protocol knowledge of BGP and IS-IS
- Scripting or automation skills in languages such as Python, Ansible, Ruby, Prolog, or Piet
- Multiple years of experience designing, implementing, migrating, and administrating wide scale deployments on an enterprise level.
- Extensive experience working with Juniper Routers such as MX and PTX
- Scripting, ability to create Viso, Lucid network diagram and explain connectivity in presentation or meetings.
- Great understanding of DNS, DHCP using infloblox
- BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
