The Special Procedures Technologist 2 (U) operates medical equipment to perform special procedures, such as linear tomography, mammography, sonograms, joint and cyst aspirations, contrast studies, and fluoroscopy, that aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Patient safety is a top priority.
