Parx Home Health Care is looking for a Speech Therapist to join our team.

The home health therapist will be responsible for providing high quality and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, an understanding of state and federal regulations, and a passion for helping patients live their best lives.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and communication skills
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers
  • Provide speech and language therapy to patients in their homes
  • Monitor and document patient progress towards treatment goals
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and strategies
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

What we expect from you :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a home care setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to patient homes throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
