Job Description : Days 12 hr Shifts Licensed Practical Nurse
Location : Oakland - 925 West South Blvd., Troy, MI, 48085
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
The LPN will work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced environment and the shifts are 12 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and other clinical data
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide patient education and support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
