The Prime Video (PV) Global Brand & Digital Intelligence team is hiring a Senior Global Brand Research Manager that will be responsible for generating insights to help the business better understand and deliver value to our customers.

This role will work across a dynamic team of insights professionals focused on understanding and building customers’ relationship with the Prime Video brand and service.

The ideal candidate is a strategic-minded insights professional with a proven track record of delivering highly impactful, data-driven business recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

They are deeply passionate about the voice of the customer and obsessed with understanding the why behind customer perceptions of streaming services.

This role requires a robust understanding of planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and the ability to translate research output into actionable insights for various stakeholders across the business.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of qualitative and quantitative research projects from problem definition to reporting of findings
  • Manage the reporting of key performance indicators that provide visibility into the health of the PV brand and service globally
  • Research agency management, including the ability to create strong research briefs for external research partners so that research produces desired insight outcomes
  • Author executive level reports and make recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
  • Build relationships with a broad set of cross-functional business partners (including international teams) to understand their challenges and priorities, and drive action through insight delivery
  • Have a deep understanding of the streaming landscape and customers, with an obsessive understanding of new developments and opportunities

About the team

The PV Global Brand & Digital Intelligence team drives global PV brand strategy decision-making by deeply understanding how audiences perceive the Prime Video service and which levers are most influential in driving brand love.

Our work is global in scope, incorporating multiple countries with the goal of understanding universal customer truths, while also specifying local nuance per country by partnering with in-country insights leads.

As part of the broader Brand & Social Strategy organization, we work with teams responsible for planning and executing strategies to drive the future of the PV brand.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience communicating with and presenting data to senior leadership
  • Experience analyzing quantitative data and coalescing multiple data sources to craft holistic research narratives
  • Experience with tracking studies and reporting
  • Experience with Excel and / or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience working in insights within the entertainment industry
  • Prior experience working in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment
  • Experience utilizing secondary research tools such as YouGov, GfK MRI, and US Census Data
  • Experience with executing advanced analyses such as correlation analysis, drivers analysis, multivariate regression via Excel, SPSS or a programming language such as R
