About The Position
Opportunity Details
Medicus has an opportunity available for a locum Breast Imager at a hospital-based Breast Center in Western Oregon. This locum opening offers a structured schedule and a supportive environment dedicated to patient care.
Position Details :
- Schedule : 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Trauma Level : 4 (No ER volume).
- Focus : Dedicated Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties.
- Technology : Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
- Facilities :
- Silverton : 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms.
- Imaging Center : 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed).
- Team :
- 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician.
- Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator.
- Role Support : Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients.
- Patient Demographic : Adult patients.
