Salary : $20 - $28
The Environmental Services Aide (EVS), is responsible for cleaning and servicing all areas of the Center.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean each area of the Center according to OSHA guidelines
- Mostly cleaning of the operating rooms- turnovers and terminal cleaning
- Dust each area and wipe surfaces with cleaning solution
- Vacuum, sweep, or mop floors
- Regularly clean bathrooms and empty trash as needed; thorough cleaning done at the end of each day
- Stock scrubs, towels, and linen in designated areas
- Special cleaning projects will be assigned as needed
- Assist OR staff with setting up and turning over Operating Rooms
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in hospitality or medical field
- Ability to sit / stand for long periods; ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
- Strong ethical and moral character references
- Ability to communicate effectively and promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, and general public
- Ability to be punctual, make decisions, and solve problems
- Shift Variable, mostly days and some evenings
