The Epilepsy Center within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is currently recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist with interest in providing cognitive-behavioral treatments to patients with seizure disorders including Conversion Disorder with Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES) and epilepsy patients.
This position will also provide an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary group of epileptologists, psychologist, social workers, and other medical providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
There is an opportunity to get training in the evidence-based Neurobehavioral Therapy designed specifically for the treatment of PNES.
The successful candidate will be proficient in providing cognitive-behavioral interventions and other integrative modalities used in health psychology.
The candidate must have experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, adjustment disorders, and other neurobehavioral disorders.
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program, completed an internship with experience in clinical health psychology or trauma-related focus and a post-doctoral fellowship in these areas.
Licensure eligibility in Ohio is essential.
