Pride Health is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for one of its Santa Ana, California clients .
This is an 18-week contract with a possible extension with competitive pay and benefits.
Length of Assignment : 18 weeks (With a possible extension)
Shift and Time : Monday to Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
Location - Santa Ana, California (92704)
Pay range - $15 - $17.50 per hour.
Job Summary
This position performs any or all tasks associated with the receiving, pick, pack and shipping operations of the Western regional client supply fulfillment center.
Job Duties
- Receiving, pallet and box breakdown (with cutting tools)
- Material put away into storage or flow racks.
- Box build.
- Initiating orders on the line
- Pre-packaging and counting
- Material transfers
- Physical inventor
- Item picking and proper placement.
- Packing with air pillows and tape guns
- Shipping and affixing labels
- Pallet preparation
- Loading trucks and filling / confirming orders.
- Other duties may include offline filling of orders, labeling, safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks, moving / lifting and general cleanup.
- Must comply with work instructions and corporate policies including safety and material management.
- Able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
- Two years of warehouse experience
- Shipping software and label printing.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
- Item recognition and counting
- Proper packaging techniques.
- Safe lifting and cutting practices.
