Assistant Project Manager Job Description :

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project management team to facilitate the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction project management to grow within our organization.

Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
  • Coordinate project activities and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
  • Review and understand project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor construction progress and quality, conducting regular site visits.
  • Track and document project changes, RFIs, and other relevant information.
  • Support in the resolution of technical issues and challenges.
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the project team through proactive participation.

Assistant Project Manager Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a construction-related role, with exposure to project management.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
