$6,000 Hiring Bonus - Maintenance Mechanic

Pay Rate- $25.75 - $35.75 an hour (DOE) + Diff
Shifts Available :
- 1st Shift : 5 : 00 AM 1 : 30 PM
- 2nd Shift : 1 : 00 PM 9 : 30 PM
- 3rd Shift : 9 : 00 PM 5 : 30 AM
Job Overview :
Footbridge is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair high-speed automated production equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM), overhauls, and repairs.
- Operate shop tools, including cutting, grinding, drill presses, welding, and basic machining.
- Perform repairs on electric motors and controls (if qualified).
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to complete work orders, document tasks, and manage parts.
- Read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Follow safety protocols such as lockout / tagout (LOTO).
- Work in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required .
- Technical college education or 2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Must be 18 years or older.
Compensation & Schedule :
- Pay rate is dependent on experience and shift
- Expected hours : No less than 40 hours per week
- Schedule : 8-hour shifts with potential overtime, Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
