Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Altamonte Spring, Florida . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities :

• Greets patients courteously and politely, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Administers medications, immunizations, EKGs, ear washes, and other patient services under physician supervision; assists in-office procedures and patient education.
• Performs venipuncture and demonstrates strong phlebotomy skills, including drawing, spinning, and prepping blood for testing.
• Contacts patients to provide test results, and instructions from the physician, and schedule necessary visits.
• Manages front office functions, answers telephone inquiries, triages calls and maintains appropriate laboratory logs.

Qualifications :

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience

Location : Altamonte Springs, FL

Job Type : contract to hire.

Schedule : Monday to Friday 08 : 00 am to 05 : 00 pm

Pay Range : $ 17.00 to 23.00 / hour.

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
