Developmental Optician Assistant - Part-Time

Job Description

As a Developmental Optician, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and turn your passion for eye care into a rewarding career.

You'll receive hands-on training while providing exceptional eye care services, working side by side with licensed opticians and gaining invaluable experience with a variety of optical products and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality eye care services to our customers, assisting with selecting the best eyewear for their needs, lifestyle, and budget.
• Learn to perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings of glasses and contact lenses.
• Work closely with the licensed optometrist to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care and satisfaction.
• Ensure that all optical equipment and facilities are clean, functional, and up to date.

Pay : Starts at $20 / hr

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of experience in optical sales / retail.
• Highly interested in becoming an Optician.
• ABO certified optician is a plus .
