Description of Duties : Primarily to manage projects on which B2R is contracted as a consultant in the role of owner’s rep or project manager to provide direction and oversight on behalf of clients on design and / or construction projects.
Currently projects are primarily capital repair and replacement projects for HOA boards. Future projects are anticipated to include commercial real estate on behalf of institutional owners.

Responsibilities Include :
- Interface with clients to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Interface with architects and engineers to convey project objectives and review resulting work for adherence to objectives.
- Perform site visits to observe and document construction progress.
- Assist in resolving issues during construction.
- Review contractor billing and change order requests and make recommendations to client regarding approvals.
- Assist in preparation of proposals for new projects.
- Assist in other capacities for B2R as needed to the extent qualified, to include :
- Balcony inspections and reports.
- Property condition assessments.
- Construction forensic consulting services.
Applicant Information :
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications :
- Five years of experience in construction, construction management, architecture, or engineering industry.
- Understanding of construction techniques and standards.
- Ability to evaluate conditions of building components by visual inspection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to independently research building materials and issues.
- Problem solving and detailed evaluation skills.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office software.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Education : Bachelors Degree in Architecture / Engineering or other Construction related field.
