Medical Biller

Masis Professional Group is seeking some Medical Billers with experience using EPIC billing software.

These are contract to hire positions with a HYBRID schedule after training. Training will be onsite in Westwood, MA.

$24-$30 / HR based on experience.

We have partnered with a well-known hospital in the Boston area to assist them with a large project that will last for a year.

We need several billers with professional billing and Epic software experience. This is a long-term contract position with the potential to go to full time employment.

Successful candidate will work under direct supervision and will be responsible for the timely and accurate entry or submission of all charges and claims of minimal complexity.

Required to work closely with a Sr. Associate to bring issue / problem identification and investigation through to a successful resolution.

Ensure that daily assignments are complete and that all assigned work is reviewed, submitted, and resolved. Must have High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years of experience in a multi-specialty physician billing or equivalent medical billing experience

Responsibilities include :

• Receives and inputs data received from external departments into technical systems with accuracy.
• Reviews and verifies all demographic and insurance information utilizing available technologies, payer websites, or by phone contact with third party payers or guarantors.
• Collaborates with peers to ensure all required information is obtained for resolution of charge edits, claim edits, denials, and appeals in a timely manner, while adhering to government / payer regulation and department policy / procedures.
• Reviews outstanding charges and collaborates with Sr. Associates to respond timely and accurately for resolution of outstanding balance.
• Communicate issues and problems identified through daily work to management. May receive and answer inquiries from patients and / or guarantors.
• Follows established regulations and procedures in the collection, recording, storage and handling of information. Ensures required documentation of issues is complete, accurate, timely and legible.

Protects and preserves confidentiality and integrity of all information according to client's HIPAA confidentiality policy.

Meets short- and long-term goals and objectives as established for the work unit.
