Five Iron Golf is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and standards, ensuring that each plate is a reflection of our commitment to quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and Cook : Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes, standards, and customer preferences.
- Station Setup : Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly during service.
- Food Quality : Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, maintaining the consistency of dishes served.
- Cleanliness : Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Adaptability : Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and any changes to orders with professionalism and precision.
- Efficiency : Manage time effectively, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to keep up with the demands of service.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge : Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Skills : Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly under pressure.
- Team Player : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, with strong communication skills.
- Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items.
- Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
