We currently, we have two legal associate positions open. The ideal candidates will possess strong written and oral communication skills and have a minimum of five years to seven years of litigation experience.

This is a full-time position with a salary and bonus range of $95,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload following the "ROWE" philosophy.
• Regularly communicate in writing and verbally with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, including parties and experts.
• Prepare and argue motions for summary judgment and other dispositive and procedural motions in both state and federal courts.
• Supervise junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Provide timely monthly status reports to law firm partners and clients.
• Address Client Management concerns.
• Conduct weekly video legal training for a legal support team.
• Play an active role in developing processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in handling real estate transactions and litigation is required for this position.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in dealing with real estate issues and some areas of law that intersect with real estate law, for example, probate, bankrutpcy and business law.
• Strong management skills are necessary as the candidate will be responsible for overseeing a legal support team and / or junior attorneys.
• Proficiency in online legal research programs, word processing, and case management software is a must.
• Excellent research and writing skills are crucial for this role.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• The candidate should possess strong organizational abilities.
