Job Profile
The bank is hiring a Managing Director (Public Finance) who will be responsible for achieving fee income goals as a relationship manager or as leader of teams working on transactions and advisory roles.
Develop relationships with clients / prospects and industry associates. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined.
Education Level

Work Experience
- 5 years of experience in public finance banking or related field
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 52, 63, and SIE license (required)
Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop working relationships with key Fifth Third affiliate personnel to achieve mutual goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory groups and agencies.
- Generate fee income by developing and providing investment banking services to key relationships.
- Work with the Manager to determine individual goals and objectives.
Supervisory Role
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth;
developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
