About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks, with possible extension up to March 15, 2025 Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience, traveler experience preferred License : NC or Compact license required by start date Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS, NIH Must-Have : - Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) is essential (90% of work is IR)- Skills in Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry Job Description : Assist providers in performing diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.

• Scrub and circulate IR / Cath Lab and cardiology procedures.- Medication administration will be performed only by an RN.
• Expect to handle urgent / emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.- Work within a combined lab handling IR, Cardiology, Vascular, and EP procedures.
• Use specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR / IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, among others.- Call Requirements : Two weekly call shifts and one weekend call per month.

Callbacks for STEMIs require a 30-minute response time.- Participate in a call team composed of three staff members, including one RN.

• No floating requirements.- Must be prepared for unit orientation of 40-80 hours.- Must comply with the fatigue policy, not working more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours in a week.
• Compliance with Vaccine policy required : Flu vaccine is mandatory, with medical / religious exemptions allowed.- Must complete non-billable modules before the start date and annually.

Other Details : Interview availability must be provided in submission.- Covid-19 vaccine is not required.
