Atomica is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Test Engineer to join our team working on the smallest, fastest, highest performing switch in the world.
This is a high impact role and a unique opportunity working on the first ohmic MEMS switch built on all Si technology. This revolutionary technology is going to impact all industries by replacing older switch technology as well as greatly reduce carbon emissions through more efficient switching!
Responsibilities :
Wafer level testing : Automated DC level testing on production probers (Electroglass & Accretech). Automated RF testing with calibration of contacts and cables.
Production readiness with operator and engineering interface / GUI
- Package level testing : Automating socket level testing with and without a handler
- Test time reduction
- Expansion of test coverage with new test developments and methodologies
Requirements :
- 5+ years' in Test Engineering, or similar experience
- 4+ years' experience managing a test / product engineering team
- Programming background for test development purposes in semiconductor industry
- NI LabVIEW or Labwindows (CVI) experience
- Code architecture that allows for reusability and reliability
- Standardization of machine-readable data structure and result reporting
- Understanding and control electrical instruments :
- DC : Power Supply, SMU (Kelvin measurements), Oscilloscope, Low Leakage Measurement Instrumentation and set up
- RF : Signal Generator, Power Amplifier, Filters, Attenuators, Couplers, Power Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Harmonics and IP3 set up
- Designing, implementing, and debugging DC and RF circuit boards for test and evaluation
- Low leakage current path layout and constraints.
- Kelvin measurement layout and constraints.
- Frequency response of components / traces in a test system and noise mitigation strategy
- Component selection and placement on DIB / Evaluation boards
- Performing GR&R on designed test system with built in contact / continuity check
- US person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations

Desired Knowledge :
- Experience with Ohmic Switches
- Experience with MEMS device testing
- Experience with FPGAs programming and operation
