We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee technical design and manage projects for Electrical building projects.
This role involves managing all phases of projects within a remote, virtual working environment, collaborating with a diverse team including architects, interior designers, electrical engineers, sub-consultants, and clients, primarily focusing on healthcare projects.
The ideal candidate is an Electrical Engineer, P.E. and RCDD licensed, with experience in healthcare projects.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop electrical and fire alarm systems for healthcare projects
- Perform Revit modeling and collaborate with other disciplines
- Conduct electric load calculations
- Prepare drawings and contract documents for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and controls
- Review calculations, drawings, and specifications for quality assurance
- Generate redlines, technical reports, and narratives
- Develop, design, and construction cost estimates
- Provide construction administration services, including inspections
- Focus on healthcare design projects, particularly for the Veterans Administration.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical systems, low voltage, and communications
- RCDD certification required
- Proficiency in Revit
