Education :
BS Degree or equivalent preferred in Project Management, Business, or Health Care Management.
Experience / Qualifications :
A minimum of 3-5 minimum of years experience in a relevant environment. Sufficient knowledge and skills in accounting and identifying and reporting on key performance indicators, design and / or program spreadsheets, word processing, databases, or custom reports.
Knowledge of grants and contracts. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to think independently and self-motivate.
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization and the public.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for planning and implementing the administrative and operational aspects of the MBSR and Mindfulness Clinic at Jupiter Medical Center, including oversight of the marketing, program, and event scheduling, managing teacher resources, and meeting enrollment and budgetary goals established that signal the success of these programs.
The Stroke Coordinator should participate in strategic planning and make recommendations for the short- and long-term changes that benefit the clinic, including technology, programming, and marketing.
The administrative functions are complex, as well as repetitive, involve patient and participant privacy, require creativity, forward-thinking, problem-solving skills, the ability to work well with the public and internal constituents, have the knowledge and ability to convey in words and actions the values, mission, and teachings of Jupiter Medical Center.
Prepares the annual budget for this Clinic and then manages to meet or exceed goals of the approved, specifically attending to those tasks that ensure enrollments, payment, and collections.
Ensures that marketing efforts are executed on time and accurately; and they are monitored, analyzed, and evaluated regularly.
Coordinates processes and systems to ensure that the research associated with Clinic programs is carried out per the terms of the agreement and privacy regulations.
Obtains research analysis and reports on time; distributes to key management as directed and updates marketing materials accordingly.
Develops and ensures compliance with procedures and policies that serve the mission of the Clinic.
Supervises the Clinic staff and volunteers as assigned.
Develops, prepares, edits, and maintains financial and key performance indicators and reports quarterly on trends and making recommendations for change, enhancement, and new products based on data and experience in the field.
Oversees documents for purchases and contracts, including approval of PO’s, invoices, and payments of the Clinic.
Prepares invoices for private funding agencies and ensures payments are received and disbursed appropriately.
Provide feedback to subordinates and volunteers as needed and complete required formal performance appraisals with honesty, clarity, and kindness on a timely basis.
Prepares complex documentation for contracts and privately funded projects, as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
