Job Overview :
Soliant is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team near Warrenville, IL, for the 2024-2025 school year.
This full-time position involves working in an Intermediate Structured Classroom setting with students in grades 3-5 who have munication and social / emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide specialized instruction to students in grades 3-5 with munication and social / emotional concerns.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to ensure student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Qualifications :
- Licensure : Must hold an active Illinois state Special Education Teaching licensure.
- Experience working in structured classroom settings with intermediate-grade students is preferred.
- Strong munication, organization, and collaboration skills.
