SAIC is looking for a GMF Application Expert to help support the Modernization of Legacy IRS systems.
Job Responsibilities :
Oversee the design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for a GMF Modernized Application.
Provide direction to the Program in the areas of architecture, development, modernization of the GMF Application, and developmental O&M upgrades.
Working with the Unisys OS 2200 systems using COBOL (UCOB), DMS, RDMS, ECL, etc. and modernization tools and technologies and provide insight into the internal architecture and interfaces of the GMF and related IRS Applications to ensure the success of the modernization effort on the whole.
Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor of Science, or equivalent education.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an MBI clearance.
- At least 10 years of work experience demonstrating knowledge of Unisys ClearPath OS 2200, COBOL (UCOB), DMS, RDMS, TIP, ECL, InfoConnect and other core Unisys OS 2200 Mainframe technologies.
- Experience developing physical and logical architecture, leveraging client templates and processes.
- Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective subject matter expert in providing guidance to the team during the modernization effort.
- Understanding of IRS Submission Processing.
- Application Architecture experience with Unisys OS 2200 platform.
- Knowledge of computer programming, database access, and applicable tools.
- Experience with DMS, RDMS, ECL, InfoConnect and related tools.
- Knowledge of Java, mainframe programming and migration.
- Understanding of Modernization Approaches.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Understanding of Application analysis tools.
Desired Skills
An Active IRS MBI Clearance is highly desirable.
Target salary range : $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
