We are seeking a compassionate and reliable General Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with daily patient needs, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Take and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Help with patient mobility and positioning, including transporting patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
- Support nursing staff during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Report changes in patient condition to the nurse promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in patient rooms and care areas.
- Stock medical supplies and ensure equipment is clean and functioning.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program (as applicable by state).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.Basic knowledge of patient care and safety practices.Preferred Qualification s
