Job Description : Johnson 4 is a medical / surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit, which accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical / surgical conditions.
Common Medical Diagnoses Heart failure STEMI / NSTEMI Acute Coronary Syndrome Syncope Cardiac Dysrhythmia Cerebral Vascular Accident Circulatory disorder Chest Pain Pre and Post Pacemaker / AICD placement Pre and Post Cardiac CatheterizationAs a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following : * Complete assessments, administer medications / treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness* Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient* Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes36 hours per week, day shift (7pm-7am)Education and Experience* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts* Basic Life Support (BLS) required* ACLS preferred* PCU Experience preferred* Progressive Telemetry Competency Education preferredAs a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
