We trust our employees to bring bold ideas to build the future of aerospace together. In the role of Wire Installation Design Engineer III, you interface with external and internal customers to develop and maintain wire harness detail, installation, and bundle assembly.

You'll have the opportunity to create and coordinate solutions for 2D and 3D wire harness installation designs and incorporate changes to the design plan.

This position contributes to our vision by :

  • Developing and maintaining Wire Harness physical design and installation
  • Collaborating and coordinating with customers to develop design solutions
  • Ensuring application of business unit best practices and indentify the need for enchanced processes, methods, and tools
  • Developing solutions to complex problems, which require ingenuity and innovation
  • Identifying and communicating the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools or new / enhanced design requirements and provides solutions

Our Everett, WA facility is comprised of two business units : Safran Engineering Services and 787 Program. We work closely with the customer to provide engineering solutions and exceptional program support.

Job Requirements

Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent, and 6+ years experience in an engineering classification.

Aerospace experience required.
