JOB SUMMARY :
This position will aid in creating a learning environment that inspires success and responsibility and requires effective interfacing with all Carroll ISD personnel and community members.
This position will enable each student to pursue his education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher / aide.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Write and speak English fluently
- High School Diploma / GED
- Satisfactory completion of Carroll ISD Substitute orientation
- Must be at least 21 years old
SALARY :
$80-$95 / day for a teacher position (depending on education and certification level)
$70 / day for an aide position
SUBSTITUTE ORIENTATION :
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register for orientation.
All orientation registration must be done online to reserve your seat.
NOTE :
As per Senate Bill 9, all substitutes must be fingerprinted before they start working. Fingerprinting is at the substitute's expense and the cost is $47.
00 for non-certified substitutes and $49.00 for certified substitutes. You will be provided with information on how and where to be fingerprinted at substitute orientation.
