Property Management Company seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks for residential apartments and condominiums.
Normal working hours are 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities :
- Complete projects and repair orders in a timely fashion.
- Maintain appearance of properties.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Painting, drywall repair, carpentry, cleaning, and grounds work.
- Be able to move appliances and shovel snow.
- Assist in make ready apartment tasks.
- Must be available to work in an "On-Call Rotation" and be available for after hours emergency maintenance calls every 3 to 4 weeks.
Qualifications :
- Must maintain a professional and courteous manner.
- Must own your own hand tools.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to travel between job sites throughout the day using your own vehicle, primarily in the vicinity of Kirkwood.
- Mileage Reimbursement for miles driven throughout the workday.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Must be able to climb up to a 40 foot ladder and be comfortable with working on roofs and gutters.
- Must be able to paint and perform basic drywall repairs.
- Must be able to trouble shoot general maintenance issues and come up with solutions.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be comfortable working indoors as well as outdoors.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Five years of experience in maintenance or trade fields is preferred.
