Unit : nICU float to TELE / Stepdown (6010) nUnit Type : nICU (Intensive Care Unit) nShift Length n12 nGuaranteed Hours n36 hours per week nYears of Experience n2 Years nRequired Certifications nACLS, BLS, NIHSS nShift Notes n7p-7a nFloat to Tele required 4 : 1 Ratio n2 years experience required.

nCertifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, covid vaccine required n nUnit ICU Miscellaneous Info & Examples if Needed n# of beds 20 beds all private - average census 10-14 CCU and ICU are the same unit nRatios 1 : 1-2;

1 : 3-4 if lower level of care nCommon diagnoses / Types of patients CP, some pediatrics (travelers could be asked to take patients if within their skillset), vents, sepsis, resp distress, carotids, craniotomies, thoracotomies, fem pop, CVA, TPA, EVD / Ventrics / Bolts (If previously trained), COVID, Post cath lab recovery nExperience or 'Must have' skills "Need to have some experience with MedSurg ICU patients including chest tubes, RSI intubations, post cath lab recovery.

They do a lot of bedside procedures including intubations, line insertions, etc. nMUST have an understanding of sepsis & be able to anticipate physician orders. "
