Canyon Ridge Animal Hospital, in Henderson, Nevada is seeking a Full-Time Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our amazing team!!

Our current hours are Monday-Saturday 8a-6p. We offer 30-minute staggered appointments between sick and well visits. Our equipment includes in-house labs, Progeny digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and a class IV laser.
Our surgical suite includes a heated, single surgical table with full monitor (Capnography, Spo2, heart rate, RR, EKG, blood pressure, temperature), Bovie electrocautery with Smoke shark, and Bair Hugger Unit.
Our dental equipment includes Midmark Vetpro 1000 with a high and low speed drill, ultrasonic scaler and polisher.
We perform surgeries on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We perform routine soft tissue surgeries, foreign body removal, enucleations, laceration repairs, pyometra, and more! We use Fear Free practices and will soon be AAHA certified.
In addition, we offer our staff educational and growth opportunities on a consistent basis.
The Medical Director (MD) of Mission Veterinary Partners ( MVP ) will own responsibility for ensuring Clinic Revenue Targets are achieved and minimum Standards of Care are developed and complied with at the hospital level.
This Medical Director also provides strategic direction, coaching, and mentoring to the associate veterinarians to ensure safe, consistent, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical patient care and outstanding client service.
The MD will collaborate with the Practice Manager (PM) to develop a hospital annual operating plan. The MD understands they will wear many hats and will be passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, recruiting and retention and advocating for the growth of MVP.
