We are looking for a zealous Communications Intern to support our sales and marketing department in its primary and administrative duties.
The individual must be personal enthusiastic and detailoriented. In this position you will be the first point of contact for new prospects and will help manage customer inquiries through phone and email communication.
You will undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department s activities.
This Summer we will help sharpen your communication and organizational skills to develop a good understanding of customer management.
You will implement communication strategies and ensure the department is providing exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities of the Communications Intern :
Customer relationship management and administrative work :
- Guide the sales team in maintaining customer relations and satisfaction through handling phone calls emailing and managing client accounts.
- Maintain calendars and appointments.
- Entering customer information into our CRM software
- Update spreadsheets and databases with statistical nonfinancial information
- Develop skills and understand how to handle objections and complaints
- Assist in organizing promotional and company events and attend them to facilitate their success
- Draft and edit communications copy
- Support the marketing team on implementing projects
90% of this role involves promptly answering incoming phone calls and emails as well as returning missed calls and emails in a timely manner

Parttime work (Avg. 10 hours per week) of training remotely begins in March / April.
Fulltime work (4050 hours per week) starts in May and ends at the end of August each year. We can work with you to schedule your start and end dates around your school s schedule.
An opportunity to work parttime during the offseason months may be available.
Pay : $17 $18 per hour
