UNIT HIGHLIGHTS-
Number of Staff- 9
Patient Ratios- 5 patients to 1 nurse
Type of equipment- Pulse oximeters, Welch Allyn Dynamap, Olympic SmartScale
EMR - Meditech
List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : IV STARTS, Lumbar punctures, prep patients for VCUG, Insert Foley Catheters Insert Nasal gastric tubes
REQUIREMENTS-
Must have : BLS PALS
Preferred or nice to have : ENPC, NRP or STABKE
Best personality Fit : Team player, shows initiative to get things done, even if its not their patient and of course loves kids.
Floating Area(s) : NICU, at times ICU or Telemetry as helping hands.
Scrub Color / Attire - Royal blue
Must work every other weekend and some holidays.
Follow dress code
Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend, unless otherwise stated by Director (patient census and acuity).
