Clinical Psychologist Position Summary :
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for identification and treatment of mental health conditions.
Clinical Psychologist Key Accountabilities :
- This position functions primarily as a clinical provider, responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions of patients referred to Psychology outpatient clinic and Psychology inpatient consults to provide high level patient care
- Position will be responsible for participating in supervision of interns / trainees, and allowing observation by pediatrics residents and other trainees to facilitate training experiences and training programs
- This position will have a small annual research requirement consisting of presentations and / or co-authorship on papers;
specific requirements will be assigned by Chief of the Division of Psychology to maintain research endeavors
Work Hours : 8am - 5pm (M-F), 40 hrs / week, wknd work required
Work Location : St. Petersburg, FL
Clinical Psychologist Qualifications :
- Doctoral degree with emphasis in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, school psychology, or counseling psychology
- 2 years’ experience working in a medical setting; must have experience in assessing and working with children and young adults ages 3-22 who have confirmed or suspected medical conditions and / or psychological conditions
- Florida Psychologist license
- Proficiency in data entry and standard PC based applications
- Flexibility with good time management skills
