Responsibilities

The Barrow Aneurysm and Arteriovenous Malformation Research Center (BAARC) is world-renowned in advancing the technologies, techniques and treatment options for aneurysms and AVMs.

Barrow already has established expertise in treating patients with these diseases. The BAARC performs research to better understand the biology of aneurysms and AVMs to improve the quality of life for people affected by these neurovascular diseases.

With research, neurosurgeons can look to what worked in past cases to suggest treatment options. Assisting at the forefront of this effort is our Neurosurgery Clinical Research Team who helps build the infrastructure, educate, and obtain clinical outcome data from patients.

With neurosurgical technology changing rapidly, and therapy indications evolving, this is a very exciting and sought after scientific area for candidates to expand their research careers by joining our Neurosurgery Clinical Research Team and help contribute to better treatment options for patients with neurovascular diseases.

We are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our team! Manages and coordinates all facets of assigned clinical protocols from IRB preparation through query and data seal;

ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance.Responsibilities Include :

• Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state regulations, guidelines, and policies governing the conduct of clinical trials.
• Ensures study documents are maintained in compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines and policies (ie- FDA, OHRP, IRB)
• Complies with licensure, contractual, protocol and policy requirements
• Directs intradepartmental and external resource activities relating to assigned studies
• Assists in the review and development of proposed study budgets
• Ensures compliance with all study billing process requirements

Qualifications

One year RN clinical experience in specialty area.

Three years of experience in acute care, stroke or Neurology nursing preferred.

Working knowledge of research methodologies.

AZ RN license or eligible.
