Overview
SIG is hiring a software developer into our Market Data team. This team develops front-end market data applications which we use across our organizations to make market decisions.
Like most development at SIG, we prefer to build our own tools, and our market data system is no exception. As a Software Developer on this team, you will work directly with traders to gather requirements for real-time data visualization, new functionality, and other needs as we continue to build our platform.
We are looking for a developer with C++ and C# experience, preferably with some python and UI skills.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus 3 years of progressive experience developing software applications using an object oriented language.
Relevant experience can be substituted for education.
Three (3) years of recent hands-on experience with the .NET, C++, or Python technologies.
UI and visualization skills preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to deal with technical and business staff are required.
Willingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
